The Full Story
So, where were we?
At my core, I'm a strategic storyteller who combines curiosity, a genuine love of people and a deep understanding of results-driven marketing to develop stories that get results. I affectionately refer to myself as a "content chameleon" because the thing I love to do most (besides write) is to embed myself in a completely new industry, quickly learn it, befriend SMEs, then create strategies and content to achieve business goals.
How's this for a range of industries I've worked in: automotive, healthcare, Hollywood, retail, software, insurance, architecture, engineering, professional sports, technology, higher education, small business development, agriculture, not-for-profit, experiential and travel and tourism, to start.
Because I honed my craft and interests in the "gifted kid to adult ADHD" pipeline, I keep myself busy. I've maintained a side hustle as a freelance writer since 2007, publishing articles in local, regional and national magazines, digital pubs and brand blogs. I've also written two books; my latest, "Oldest Kansas City," published in October 2025. As a result, I've declared myself an amateur historian who unlocked decades — centuries — of stories yet to be told.
